Witches or Wise Women? The trial of Macbeth's Weird Sisters

The opportunity to experience a Macbeth-themed mock trial in a real courtroom at the iconic Galleries of Justice Museum in Nottingham.

For the third year running, we are offering pupils the opportunity to experience a Macbeth-themed mock trial in a real courtroom at the iconic Galleries of Justice Museum in Nottingham.

Aimed at Years 5 and 6, this 1 hour interactive educational workshop will provide an introduction to the history of James I anti-witch craft laws.

In ‘Witches or Wise Women? The Trial of Macbeth’s Weird Sisters’ your group will decide if they were wise women or something more sinister and powerful. Pre-visit activities will be available to support the session.

The session is led by NCCL education facilitators. BOOK NOW! learning@nccl.org.uk or call 0115 9939 811 to discuss and plan your visit.
