Free Digital resources for all Key Stages

Free Digital Resources for all young people. Each school who registers will receive access to five videos, telling the story of the five acts of Macbeth. The story will be told by John Brolly, in his own words from the world famous Minack stage. Each video will come with suggestions of three complementing activities that will be literacy, drama and design based.

In the past we have been fortunate enough to be able to offer all schools in Cornwall FREE 2-hour workshops in school or at The Minack during Shakespeare week. Unfortunately, this year we are unable to travel the County to deliver the workshops or invite schools to come and visit us.

Therefore, we have taken a different approach to how we can offer activities to mark Shakespeare Week. This year we are creating FREE resources for schools that can be circulated to the children, if they are working from home or delivered in school. The resources will be available for all schools in the UK, not just Cornwall. The resources will include five short videos of the five acts of Macbeth. Each video will be of John Brolly, (The Minack’s Associate Director, local storyteller, teacher and workshop leader) telling the story on the Minack Stage, in his own words. This will be pre-recorded by us and accessed online via a link to Vimeo. Each video will come with three suggestions of activities that your students could complete each day to complement each act. The activities will be literacy, drama or design related and will be sent on 11th March to all teachers who register before 10th March 2021. All resources will be suitable for students across all key stages.

To register please follow the link to our website.

Only one teacher from each school needs to register as when sent, all resources can be shared internally.
